The seal of the United Federation of Planets appeared without warning on screens all over the Federation, it was replaced a few minutes later by the face of Kirok appeared on screens all over the Federation.
“Ladies and gentlemen of the Federation, we stand here perched on the edge of a precipice which could see this once great group of people brought to its knees.”
“As you may be aware we face a threat more immediate than the Borg Collective, the self proclaimed Admiral Cash and his band of traitors.”
“On this day I find myself having to make a decision, one I had hoped not to have to make. Legally I’m unable to do anything to prevent this as I am only the acting president, after discussions with my cabinet it has become apparent that I must take all steps necessary.”
“At this time I am officially taking the empty presidential chair until such a time as I deem the crisis gripping the Federation is over. My first act as president is to declare war on these renegades and bring the full power of the Federation to bear on them.”
