Information continues to come to light about the systematic disenfranchisement of federation voters in the sol system, particularly in minority and refugee settlements. This news office has received hundreds of complaints, including reports of legal registered voters being turned away from the polls, refugee voters being harassed by governmental officers on every street corner since the instituting of martial law one day ago. Outside of voting stations which are normally packed on voting days, other acts of intimidation and fraud are occurring.

Even before Election Day, this office received reports of fraudulent visits from persons identifying themselves as government officials urging voters to support Edward Jellico. This prompted sol system refugee support organization leader Dora Obi to publicly call on Federation secretary of state Sam Kirok to send and the supervisors of elections to “ensure that tomorrow’s voting will be clean, open and fair.” Obi said at the time, “We will not tolerate the use of fear, intimidation or scare tactics to stop people from exercising their basic right to vote.”

On Space Dock2 nearly 227,000 ballots were rejected in the computer tabulation, the largest number of any region in the election. The bulk of the discarded votes were in majority precincts, including 4,000 in predominantly Xeno precincts where Alexander Stark captured as much as 90 percent of the vote.

Alpha Centauri, a planet of 21,000,124 residents in the northeast corner of the federation, typifies the deceit and election “rigging” of the so-called free and open federation presidential elections. None on the almost 22 million residents of the evacuated planet have been able to cast a vote in this election. They all remain sequestered on starship in orbit of there own home…..for “security and contamination reasons.” Never mind the fact that late polls had show alexander stark again with a significant lead over all competitors there.

With the voting timeline expected to last three days one can only hope Mr.Stark Can maintain his already thin lead over incumbent Edward Jellico.
